London based artist, Alice Bloomfield, embraces human emotion, sex and love through illustrated and animated works.
Her linear, figurative style is reminiscent of manga with cool hues and rich compositions. Describing her art as “opulent, perturbing and sleazy”, she finds inspiration in tacky 70’s interiors and anything dark and mysterious.

Jordan Michael Blake left Mormonism to make movies at NYU. His award-winning short film "Paradise Man" premiered at Sundance in 2025 and later qualified for The Academy Awards. He frequently collaborates as a writer, producer & editor. His work has screened at Cannes Directors Fortnight, TIFF, SXSW & Sundance. He was selected to be an artist in residence at The Djerassi Resident Artists Program. He has contributed to Adult Swim’s OFF THE AIR. He co-founded The Taco Bell Film Festival sponsored by Delta Airline®. And for the past six months, he’s been living on an island in Maine, making his first full-length animated movie.

Zazie Ray-Trapido is a filmmaker and producer based in Los Angeles. Her films expand on traditional formats of documentary and narrative, engaging with analog film techniques, archives, and performance. Her practice investigates relationships between memory, ideology, and the environment. Her work has screened at festivals and venues worldwide, such as the New York Film Festival, the International Film Festival Rotterdam, Viennale, BAFICI, Curtas Vila do Conde, Glasgow Short Film Festival, ICDOCS, RIDM, Kasseler Dokfest, Oberhausen, Kurzfilm Festival Hamburg, and others. Additionally, she has had work shown at art centers including CCCB, the Jameel Arts Center, Jeu de Paume, Maysles Documentary Center, and REDCAT. She holds a BFA from Bard College and an MFA in film from California Institute of the Arts.

Tuğçe Evirgen Özmen is a filmmaker and artist making experimental short films, installations and drawings. She relies on an unconventional, metaphoric, and dream-like quality of narrative using a combination of techniques including live action, 2D animation, CGI, and compositing. She has shown her works in group shows both in Istanbul and the Bay Area, had screenings of short film in various film festivals, and had her first solo exhibition recently at staircase series in San Francisco. She graduated with a BA in Visual Communication Design from Sabanci University in Turkey and an MFA in animation/vfx/compositing in Academy of Arts University. She lives in Oakland and works in San Francisco.

Daniel is a Salvadoran-American producer, director, writer, and editor based in Los Angeles. His films have been selected at festivals including True/False, Blackstar, Atlanta, New Orleans, Bentonville, ICARO, Costa Rica Shorts, and more. They have been exhibited in art spaces such as The Museum for Memory and Image in El Salvador, Human Resources LA, and Coaxial Arts. His projects have received the support of Sundance Institute, MacArthur Foundation, Blackstar Projects, CentraDoc, and Burbuja Lab.

Yuxuan Ethan Wu is a documentary filmmaker and photographer born and raised in Changsha, China. He received his MFA in Documentary Film from Stanford University and his MA in Visual Media Arts from Emerson College. After living across different countries and cities in the past decade, he found in the camera a way to connect with the world—a way of seeing that reshaped how he experiences everyday life. Currently, Ethan is based in the Bay Area and travels worldwide for work.

His work has been featured by major news outlets such as Phoenix New Media, Tencent, NetEase, and TJ Sports. His documentary films have been screened at internationally renowned festivals, including the Sundance Film Festival (Death Education, 2025), and art house venues such as Anthology Film Archives.

Birdy Wei-Ting Hung is a Student Academy Award® winner who has been featured in Filmmaker Magazine’s annual “25 New Faces of Independent Film.” She has screened at more than 60 international film festivals. Birdy holds an M.F.A. degree at San Francisco State University, the School of Cinema. Her current project reimagines Taiwanese cinema through feminist speculative historiography.

Cal Ruxton is a Bay Area native director and gaffer who been a part of the local film community for the past seven years. You will likely find him either behind the bar or orbiting the grip truck.

LaTajh Simmons-Weaver is a screenwriter, director, and producer from Oakland, CA. They were named one of Filmmaker Magazine’s 25 New Faces of Independent Film.

Their work blends humor, imagination, and irony to explore overlooked stories within Black Queer dynamics. They have produced commissioned films for The Guardian, the Museum of African Diaspora, and the San Francisco Queer Arts Foundation. In 2025, Weaver had two films premiere on the festival circuit: Budget Paradise, which debuted at the SFFILM Festival and Hold Me Close, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. Weaver also served as Associate Producer on Earth Mama (A24), which premiered at Sundance 2023 and won a BAFTA for Outstanding Debut. A recipient of the SFFILM Rainin Grant, Weaver is currently developing their debut feature, No One Turned Away for Lack of Funds, a dark comedy exploring identity politics and belonging within the Bay Area’s Queer scene.

Brittany Alexia Young is a Florida-born filmmaker based in LA telling genre-blending, coming-of-age films following black, queer protagonists — without centering trauma. Following her career playing Division 1 lacrosse at the University of Delaware, she earned her MFA at Florida State University’s College of Motion Picture Arts, where she was honored with the program’s coveted Strickland Pathfinder Award. Her student films have screened at numerous festivals including Palm Springs International ShortFest, NewFest, and the National Film Festival for Talented Youth, where she earned an audience award and the Kathy Reichgerdt Inspiration Award! Her most recent project 'MUNCHIES’ has been supported by the WAVE Grant, Inside Out’s Re: Focus Fund, and Decentralized Picture’s Keslow Camera Award. She is a Future of Film is Female x NEON Grant Recipient, a TDE Short Film Fund Recipient and a 2025 Sundance Ignite Fellow.

WHAMMY ALCAZAREN is a Manila-based director and production designer working in film and advertising. He participated in the 13 Little Pictures Film Lab (Singapore), Festival Belluard Bollwek Watch and Talk Residency (Switzerland), and Berlinale Talents 2024. As production designer, he is a frequent collaborator with directors Carlo Manatad (Whether the Weather is Fine, 2022, Locarno Concorso Cineasti del presente), Raya Martin (Death of Nintendo, 2020, Berlinale Generations) and Sam Manacsa (Cross my Heart and Hope to Die, 2023, Venice Film Festival).

Locally, his feature films have earned critical acclaim and a reputation for their bold forms and subject matter. Internationally, his short films, Water Sports and Bold Eagle, have screened at numerous festivals, including the Sundance Film Festival, the New York Film Festival, and the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival.

Whammy is currently developing his third feature film, Noodles (Our Love Will Last Forever), a homo-apocalyptic romcom. He loves cats and Pokémon. Gotta catch ‘em all.

Sally Tran (she/her/they) is a New York City–based writer and director from Vietnam and New Zealand She is an alum of Berlinale Talents and the Massey University Writers Residency.

Her short documentary Born to Kill had its world premiere at the Tribeca Festival in 2026 supported by Tribeca, BRIC Arts, and ITVS. The project has also received development support for a feature-length documentary adaptation.

Her short hybrid film Grandma’s Four Colour Cards is currently on the festival circuit, earning multiple awards, including Best Short Documentary at the Calgary International Film Festival. Her previous short, Don't (2024), premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and has screened at more than 30 festivals worldwide, receiving honors including Best Director and Best Experimental Film.

Sally is currently completing the narrative short Love Cycle, funded by NALIP and Netflix. She continues to develop feature and episodic projects that amplify underrepresented voices and foster empathy through storytelling.
