Drunken Film Fest Oakland is back for the 9th edition October 3-9, 2026. Come through for some of the best animated, avant-garde, narrative and documentary films we could find. You'll feel right at home watching a different block of short films each night of the week at bars around town.

This year, we're excited to kick things off at Shapeshifters Cinema with What Comes From Sitting In Silence?, our only feature film of the week!

So grab a seat, grab a friend and grab a drink. We've got the movies and good vibes covered.
